Harbor Christian Schools is a Washington state approved 1-12 school, and offers a well-rounded liberal arts and extra curricular academic program.  In addition to core studies in Mathematics, Science, Language Arts, Social Studies, Foreign Languages, Fine Arts, and Bible, we also offer a variety of in-house and internet courses designed to round out the student's educational and career special interests.   In short, we offer required and elective courses to prepare them for high school graduation and further pursuits in higher education and occupational training, as well as life skills for a successful transition to adulthood.

 It is our goal to appropriately challenge each student academically -- therefore we offer an individualized program.  This requires that we thoroughly assess students, understand their learning needs, and design an educational program that increases their probability for success.  Some work far above their grade level and others get the assistance they need to catch up -- all with high regard for the learning modalities that work best for them.

 

HCS offers a stong liberal arts program.  To enhance our academic offerings, skilled, certified teachers, provide stimulating hands-on projects, educational field trips, chapel, music and drama.  

 

Students at Harbor Christian love learning and excel  because they are treated like the unique individuals that they are.  Our individualized program continues to challenge our students as they are becoming developmentally and academically prepared to meet the challenges of the 21st century.  

As well as meeting and exceeding state academic requirements, we also offer opportunities to serve in the community and globally.
